SJL PUPILS ON TOP OF THE WORLD WITH PISA RESULTS
As the OECD PISA assessment results for Wales hit the headlines, our pupils were part of the sample in 2015. We are delighted that despite the disappointing national results, St. John Lloyd Pupils performed on a par with some of the best performing countries globally such as Finland, Canada and South Korea.
- Science – Wales = 485 points (29th) SJL – 528 points – puts into 5th (above Canada and 2 points below Finland!)
- Maths – Wales= 478 points (30th) SJL – 513 points (equivalent to 5th place)
- Reading – Wales = 477 points (32nd) SJL – 526 points (joint 2nd with Finland)
