Last weekend (Saturday, 24th and Sunday 25th June) a group of staff and friends of SJL cycled from North Wales (Betws y Coed) to Llanelli, raising funds for the Chemotherapy Unit at Prince Phillip Hospital and the school opportunity fund for deprived pupils in our care. As a school community we are proud to support both causes and thank our sponsors: Peter’s Plumbing Supplies, Lewis Partnerships, DD Plumbing, The Clydach Passion Play, One stop kitchens and Avenue Villa Dental Surgery for their support too. The monies raised are still being counted, but we are hoping to smash our previous total of £2,000 when we did this two years ago.
